We are back from our trip to California (Click in the Family Matters section to read more about our trip and see lots of great pictures), and its time to start thinking and planning for our next Tot School theme.  I had a few brainstorms for possible themes, but after a little prompting from my sister-in-law, Gretchen, and the arrival of June Bug's 2 year old birthday package, the decision has been made.  Our next theme will be GARDENS AND VEGETABLES!

I am still tossing around some ideas for our Letter of the Month and will announce that soon.  Ju-Ju finishes up 2nd grade this week, so she will be joining us throughout much of the summer, so many of our Tot School activities will be expanded to engage her age group as well.  Also, I will be re-organizing our space over the next few weeks.  After some discussions and assessments of where we are at currently in our life, my husband and I have decided that we are going to transform our current "dining room" into a Tot School/Play space.  I will be sad to see our dining room table go, but I am excited to utilize our space in a more practical and useable day-to-day way (and to have a cleaner, less cluttered living room)!

So...hang tight!  I am going to take this week to plan out the next unit, update posts from our trip, prep for June Bug and Leila's 2 year old Birthday Butterfly Ice Cream and Lemonade Social this weekend and begin to re-organize for our new Tot School space.  Check back soon! I'll be updating along the way.

I am a child of God, a wife, and a full-time stay-at-home mom, step-mom, teacher and caretaker.  I pray that this blog encourages and spurs on others in similar life spaces as me, as I have been and continue to be encouraged by others who too document their days in this manner.

"The Lord your God is with you He is mighty to save, He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love and He will rejoice over you with singing."
